General Terms & Conditions
- Participating teachers need to be working in a public or private school of their country during the school year 2013-2014.
- Participating teachers should be European citizens.
- The organizers of the contest have the right to disqualify a contestant if the information provided is inaccurate or false.
- Registration provides the organizers with the right to:
- Publish the name and nationality of the winning contestants in the website of the contest and the Entredu website.
- Publish and make use of the winning learning scenarios for publicity and/or outreach purposes. -
Learning scenarios must be to their totality the work of the contestant. The contestant is responsible for the materials included in the submitted learning scenario especially for:
- Personal information included.
- Abuse or violation of any third party’s intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyright or trademark rights or rights of privacy or publicity.
- Not submitting any material that is defamatory, abusive, harassing, insulting or threatening to any other person; bigoted, hateful or racially offensive; vulgar, obscene or sexually explicit; illegal (or promotes illegal activity). - The material of the learning scenarios cannot be returned and it can be used by Entredu for promotion and publicity and/or outreach purposes without prior notice.
- Learning scenarios should enhance the development of entrepreneurial scenarios and focus on an interdisciplinary approach.
- Learning scenarios should address pupils of primary and secondary education.
- After the deadline of the contest all learning scenarios will be available to the public through the webpage of the contest and the Entredu portal.
- The judges’ decisions are final.
Submission of learning scenarios
- In order to participate, teachers need to register to Entredu portal, then join Entredu contest community and complete their profile.
- Teachers should structure an entrepreneurial education scenario, focusing on the detailed presentation of phases, learning activities and objectives.
- Learning scenarios will be presented in English; it will be highly appreciated scenarios that illustrate interdisciplinary features, in the sense that relate entrepreneurial skills not only with Economics and Business studies, but with other subject areas as well, i.e. Science Education, Environmental Education, History, etc.
- All scenarios will be uploaded under Entredu contest community, using the “Learning Scenarios” template. As soon you register to the “Entredu contest” and you enter the respective learning space, you click on the “Learning Scenario” icon and you navigate yourself to ODS authoring tool. Follow the guidelines and present your scenario as detailed as possible.
- Only registered contestants can submit a learning scenario.
- Contestants must submit their learning scenario electronically between March 4th and April 30th, 2014.
- Learning scenarios can be submitted in any of the official EU languages. Winning learning scenarios must be translated to English.
Prize
- All contestants will receive certificates of participation.
- The organizers reserve the right to request the return of the prize, should there be a breach of the terms and conditions.
- Prizes are not negotiable and they cannot be transferred to another person.
