- What is the contest about?
The “Entredu” contest aims to inspire and encourage European teachers of primary and secondary education to design and implement in their class learning scenarios that develop entrepreneurial skills.
Entrepreneurial skills centre around attitudes (soft skills), such as persistence, networking and self-confidence on the one hand and enabling skills (hard skills) on the other hand, including basic start- up knowledge, business planning, financial literacy and managerial skills.
The contest is targeting teachers from different European countries and invites them to design learning scenarios that teach entrepreneurial skills to pupils of primary and secondary education. Effective entrepreneurship education policies and programmes focus on developing these entrepreneurial competencies and skills, which are transferable and beneficial in many work contexts. The aim is not only to strengthen the capacity and desire of more individuals to start their own enterprises, but also to develop an entrepreneurial culture in society. - How can I participate and submit my learning scenario?
- In order to participate, teachers need to register to Entredu portal, then join Entredu contest community and complete their profile.
- Teachers should structure an entrepreneurial education scenario, focusing on the detailed presentation of phases, learning activities and objectives.
- Learning scenarios will be presented in English; it will be highly appreciated scenarios that illustrate interdisciplinary features, in the sense that relate entrepreneurial skills not only with Economics and Business studies, but with other subject areas as well, i.e. Science Education, Environmental Education, History, etc.
- All scenarios will be uploaded under Entredu contest community, using the “Learning Scenarios” template. As soon you register to the “Entredu contest” and you enter the respective learning space, you click on the “Learning Scenario” icon and you navigate yourself to ODS authoring tool. Follow the guidelines and present your scenario as detailed as possible.
- Only registered contestants can submit a learning scenario.
- Contestants must submit their learning scenario electronically between March 4th and April 30th, 2014.

The Learning Scenario that will be submitted in the contest should to follow the ODS Learning Scenario Template. You may download the example learning scenario, so as to see how you will structure your learning scenario.
- Can I collaborate with another teacher to create my learning scenario?
You may collaborate with another teacher, however, should your entry win; only one of you will win the prize. - Can I submit more than one learning scenario?
Each participant may submit only one learning scenario.
- In what language should I make my in?
Learning scenarios can be submitted in any of the official EU languages. Winning learning scenarios learning scenario must be translated to English.
- What is the deadline for submitting a learning scenario?
The deadline for submitting learning scenarios is the 30th of April 23:59 CET. Submissions after the deadline of the contest will not be accepted.
- Will I receive my score?
Participants may request the scores of their learning scenario after the completion of the contest by contacting their local coordinator.
- What are the evaluation criteria?

- Will learning scenarios submitted to the contest going to be made available?
After the completion of the contest the winning entries will be made available.
- Will I be informed if I win the contest?
Winning contestants will be informed via e-mail. You may also check the winners of the contest after the 31st of May at the contest’s website.
- What is the prize of the contest?
Entredu contest will offer 8 prizes. Contest winners will be awarded with two different prizes:
- Five teachers will attend a five-day training seminar of Entredu 2014 summer school, 13th -18th July in a seaside resort at the southern coast of Attica (info available at http://entredu-training.ea.gr/).
- Three teachers will attend EDEN Annual Conference in Zagreb, Croatia, 10th – 13th of June 2014 (info available at http://www.eden-online.org/2014_zagreb.html).
